CHALLENGE TRADITION

This day and age can be a scary and hectic mess at times. I believe my purpose is to not only create real moments but an experience for my couples to really re-connect, to remember what it's like to have those butterflies, to challenge tradition, question the status quo and take your wedding day back into your own hands and create something uniquely yours all while preserving these once in a lifetime memories in herlioom prints and albums.

PRINTS | they MATTER

Your photos, no, your memories and your story should be displayed, experienced and accessed easily. They don't deserve to be locked and forgotten on a hard drive or quickly scrolled passed on social media.

Which of these will your kids or grandkids be able to access easily in the next 15 years?

WHY YOU NEED AN ALBUM AND PRINTS

You NEED a wedding album. You NEED prints. And let me say this from the get-go. Any photographer not offering you an album or prints is doing you a disservice.

If your precious wedding photos spend their lives only on the laptop or some online gallery. End up in a super shiny photo book where the colors look terrible because the printer quality is wrong.

That hurts.

That’s probably the biggest downer after the wedding for me.

Photos are not made for the screen. They are made for print. They are made to be held in your hands. For your grandkids to find them in 50 years and hold them in their hands.

Come on, how cool was it, when you first found your grandparent’s wedding picture and ran your fingers over it?

You need a quality wedding album - it is an investment in your future and beyond.

I find it incredibly fascinating to look at old photos of our relatives. It's such a shame that there are so few of them, because during that time you just didn’t photograph as much. Photos were something special. Something valuable.

So the way you are feeling while looking at faded family photos these days, one day the generations after you will go through the same feelings when they look at your pictures.

What a beautiful legacy to have and to hold, if you can carry on an entire album of your wedding, and they can hold it in their hands and tell the stories of Grandma and Grandpa’s great love.

Sounds corny? I don’t care. I’m here not just for you but the future you.

I also don’t take these pictures for just you, they will live longer than you. Crazy thought, I know. But it’s true. I take pictures for your family, your kids and grandkids. If you decide not to have any, these images will still outlive you. They will be proof that you existed. That you loved and were loved.

Give them a worthy frame.

WHAT CLIENTS ARE SAYING

SOME FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

+ How do we book you?

All dates are reserved once we meet either in person or via skype/facetime, receive your signed contract and a 50% non-refundable retainer.

+ How many weddings do you shoot each year?

I shoot a limited amount of weddings (25) each year in order to fully dedicate myself to each couple.

+ Do you travel for weddings and other sessions?

I love to travel and shoot in amazing and unique locations. While most of my shoots are local I often travel thoughout Texas as well as out of state for weddings and other sessions.

+ We live out of town and wont be able to travel to meet. What are our options?

Out of town? Out of State? Abroad? Do not let the distance between us worry you! I meet with a lot of couples online via Skype or Facetime.

+ Can we provide you a "shot" list for the wedding day?

Other than the family groupings I do not accept shot lists. Working off a shot list is counterproductive from the work seen on my site. In all reality I would be spending more time rounding up guests than taking photos, not to mention the missed photo ops of the bride and groom.

+ How many hours do you suggest we set aside for wedding day images?

If you are looking to capture the whole day from getting ready to recpetion, we recommend 8 hours of wedding day coverage.

Most weddings can be captured with 6 - 8 hours of coverage.

+ Do you deliver every image you shoot?

No, I do not. Depending on the situation we are shooting in, whether that be low light, off camera lighting, low apertures or even slow shutter speeds, I usually take a few extra shots to make sure I have tack sharp focus. For this reason I eliminate duplicate images, test shots, images with bad facial expressions, missed focus shots and generally any other images that may diminish the overall finished product.

+ Do you edit every image?

Yes, I do. Every image you receive has been edited one at a time with out batch processing in groups or mass reproducing the results.

+ How many pictures will we receive?

Due to the special nature of each wedding such as, hours of coverage, number of guests and types of events I generally do not give a number of images to be received. Every wedding is unique and I cover each to the best of my ability and since each wedding is different each will receive a different number of final images.

+ What rights do I have to the digital prints?

You have the right to reprint images whenever you want. However you may not sell your images for profit or publish your images without the written consent of Anthony Godines.

  • All high-resolution digital images include a print release that holds Anthony Godines Photography harmless of any and all issues with quality {color, clarity, etc.} that may occur when printing these images on your own outside of Anthony Godines Photography.
